Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully.  By hiring a costume from Medren, you are agreeing to be bound by these conditions. 

You must be 18 years or over to make a booking.

Customers must wear suitable underwear whilst wearing Medren costumes.

All costumes remain the property of Medren Dress hire at all times.

Any change of costume is solely at Medren's discretion and subject to a £10 surcharge.

The costume hire period is for 3 days which includes the day of collection/delivery and day of return/pick up.  Longer periods can be negotiated at an extra cost but must be pre-arranged.  (Customers that do not return costumes can be prosecuted for theft)

Costumes must be returned on the day specified on the hire agreement, failure to do so will result in a surcharge of £10 per day overdue. (Please contact us if circumstances prevent you from returning on time!)

No refunds will be issued once a costume has been booked. (Only the deposit will be refunded.)

The total hire price,including the deposit must be paid to book a costume, and sufficient proof of address also provided. (i.e. UK Driving Licence, Passport or Utility bill)

The deposit is left as a security bond against the costume.  Should there be any loss or damage to the costume, the replacement or repair costs will be deducted from this deposit.  The hirer will be required to make good any shortfall.

All costumes must be returned in the condition in which they were hired.

The hirer must not:

• wash the costume,
• attach sticky labels, badges or brooches to any part of the costume,
• pin, sew, iron or adjust any costume that is hired from Medren.

All of the deposit will be forfeited if:

• the costume is returned beyond reasonable repair;
• the costume is returned needing specialised cleaning (dry cleaning, spot cleaning);
• the costume is returned with permanent damage i.e. cigarette burns, rips, tears etc;
• any modifications, alterations or additions have been carried out on the costume;
• the costume is not returned to Medren Dress Hire for whatever reason.

Not all the costumes are necessarily fire proof, please take extra care, especially around naked flames, fire places, candles, lighters, cigarettes etc
